  • I am planning to start up in the morning...

like any other program, I am concerned about feeling denied with no bread intake etc. I do not know if I will be able to maintain the will power to do this. I would feel this way with any program. I have done well following Jenny Craig but just need to move on. Any good ideas etc.

right now.. I don't feel like I"m the voice of authority or anything.. because as you can see.. I look and feel like a puffer fish right now... I'm blaming it on my thyroid cancer.. and melanoma.. that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it..

BUT... my advice from back when I WAS successful.. and the reason I've come back to stay (because I know in my heart this is what I need)...

my advice is get the book.. read it... and when you're feeling down.... read some more.. (I have tape on pages that are especially useful at times.. ... and things I really need to remember.. pages taped.. underlined and highlighted)

and.. if you really feel like blowing it... just come here.. and try to find some encouragement.....

I second this. All the yummy foods, steak, fish, chicken, eggs, bacon, veggies with butter! Full healthy fats without any guilt!

Honestly, the longer I've done this WOE, the less I miss all those things. The keys are to not cheat and give in, to learn your trigger foods (things that may cause you to cheat or overeat) and foods that cause cravings and follow the program.

If you don't feel you're strong enough to avoid the temptations, do your best to avoid them, get them out of the house, avoid eating out or at friends until you're sure you got the will power to stick to your plan.

          Good luck!
