  • What would your absolute DREAM goal be?¿¿¿

    If you could live a dream.. no stalls.. no plateaus...no cheats... if you had your absolute DREAM goal.. a goal that seems attainable enough to be realistic.... but still what you'd dream of.. ask Santa Claus for.. that kind of thing...... what would it be?

    my PERFECT world goal would be to:

    lose 4 pounds a week until July... 18 x 4 = 72...

    I'd be right where I want to be...

    it could happen....

    what's yours?

    3-20-10 177.8 - 1 month
    5-10-10 169.8 - 25 pounds gone!

    Mine would be to lose 3 pounds consistently every week, and also to find that when I get to the maintenance stage, my CCL for maintaining was something in the 50s or 60s which would allow for more choices.

    As it is, my weight tends to drop sporadically - none for a while, then more than I would expect over a very brief period. Then back to none for a while. I would much prefer to lose smaller amounts more regularly. Alas, I will take what I can - as long as I lose something here and there I am still happy about it and grateful.
    CHALLENGES: Walking - ? miles
    Pushups-000/600 Ab- 000/600 Squats- 000/600



    351 HIGH WEIGHT - DOWN 93 FROM THERE
    Lost 35-50lbs switching to whole-foods diet, 2006
    Started Atkins at 318 on 7/5/09

    MINI-GOALS
    1st - 299 - 9/1/09!
    2nd - 285 - 10/19/09!
    3rd - 278 - 11/11/09!
    4rd - 271 (minus 80) -12/24/09!
    5th - 261 (minus 90, least since '90) - 4/28/10
    6th - 251 (minus 100 from high weight) -
    7th - 241 (minus 110)
    8th - 231 (minus 120)
    9th- 225 (college athletics weight, minus 126)
    FINAL GOAL - 215 (?) - (minus 136)

      if I'm looking at your stuff correctly.. you lost 80 pounds in about 5 months.. that's incredible.. and exactly the 4 pound a week I'd love to do!

        Hmmm an ultimate goal.....to eat whatever I pleased and never gain an ounce Bread, cakes, cookies, pastries, chips and never be fat Don't think that will EVER HAPPEN IN MY LIFE So I will be happy with achieving my goal and being able to maintain it and be happy for the rest of my days. Never having to worry about fitting into cute clothes and always feeling like a hottie

          WOW! You've made amazing progress too...

          spinning off YOUR goal.. I think I'd like to never WANT to eat cake, pie and cookies again.. that would be an amazing goal.. a wish I wish I could have.... never to WANT the bad stuff again..

            I would be happy with 10 lbs per month... as it is I'm around 5 lbs per month...

            If I could reach goal by next Xmas, I would be thrilled.

            To be able to run up and down stairs, that would be awesome!

              My DREAM goal...

              That I was already at goal

              In all seriousness, I don't really have a DREAM goal - I already know all of my goals will be attained at one time or another. They are SMART goals. They are Specific, Measureable, Attainable, Realistic, and Timely (and Tangible).

              Mini Goals:
              Goal 1 - 10% (September 13th, 2009)
              Goal 2 - Pre-Pregnancy Weight with 2nd Child (September 27th, 2009)
              Goal 3 - 50 lbs down (December 1st, 2009)
              Goal 4 - Highest Pregnancy Weight with 1st right before c-section (February 20, 2010)
              Goal 5 - Lowest weight reached on WW after having 1st child
              Goal 6 - 100 lbs down
              Goal 7 - Pre-pregnancy weight with 1st
              Goal 8 - Weight I met my husband
              Goal 9 - 150 lbs down
              Goal 10 - Weight in Grade 8
              Goal 11 - Weight in Grade 6

                I'm not sure whether you are looking for goals or wishes, but I Will give you both:.

                My goal (which I WILL reach): is to be 220 pounds by July 10th
                My wish: that when I lose all that weight, a young George Clooney is underneath all that fat

                  I guess DREAM goal could = wish

                  that if things happened perfectly.. it COULD happen (it's not like I"m going to wake up tomorrow and have 70 pounds gone... but in a perfect situation.. it WILL be gone by July...

                      that's why it's a DREAM.... goal... there are some people who've done it.. and that's why it's my dream.. it's 'possible'... although highly improbable....... but it's still my wish.. my DREAM goal

                        to weigh 160 pounds by June. down from 206 to 192 this weekend but over the last few weeks have only lost 1 pound per week. loose 3-4 pounds a week for next few weeks be good then loosing less per week closer to June.

                            To be back in to my 4/6 pants. I am a 8/10 now, depending on brand of pants. Also to be in the 130's by the time we go on summer vacation.

                              Not at all.

                              However, what's going to happen when you find that losing 4 pounds a week until July isn't possible, or doable?

                              Me ... I like reality a whole lot better. It was less disappointing.
