  • Counting Carbs...

    Hi Folks!

When something says "Total Carb <1g" or "Total Carb Less than 1g" (like cream cheese or Splenda) how do you count the carbs? If I was going to use 3 Tbsp of cream cheese and each Tbsp is "Less than 1g" I know that the carb count is less than 3g, but how much less?

    Thanks!

You count each as one carb. So your three ounces of cream cheese should be counted as 3 carbs.

    Hope this helps you!

always assume that less than one carb means 1 carb. they can say that 0.9 carbs is less than one carb - hope this helps!

Thanks folks! I guess I was just trying justify squeezing in an extra carb or two (or three or four)!
