Years ago I went on Atkins and over a period of maybe 4 months lost 15 pounds. I am tiny so 15 pounds on me was like 40 on the non -vertically challenged. I tried Atkins twice after that and failed after trying almost 5 months. I am starting again but this time I am using the supplements the Doc recommends in book.. I used them the first time but didn't bother the second or third and am wondering if others are using the supplements? The other thing I wanted to offer is the value of testing your urine for ketosis. If you are a slow slow slow loser, I find them just invaluable. If I show even a small level of ketosis I know that I am burning fat regardless of what the scale says! It may take me a month to see the scale move. But this morning, I noticed I can move my belt one notch tighter.. It really is true. I think the scale can be our worst enemy. People give up right before victory
