  • I'm Back..........

    So I haven't been on here in forever! I recently had a new baby girl named Addison Grace. She just turned two months old and she is gorgeous!! But me on the other hand not so gorgeous. I am much heavier than when I was on here before and I recently started my diet back. I lost like 9 pounds the first week and nothing since! I have been on for two and half weeks. So I don't know why I haven't lost anything more. I am so ashamed of how much I weigh, it is very humiliating. I feel like I am just at rock bottom. I don't see how I can possibly get rid of all this fat, but all I know to do is stick with it and hope for the best!

    also i hope this is not a rude question but did you go off this WOL because you got pregnent? if yes then that tells me you are not sure if this WOL is healthy for pregnacy but during matainence 80 carbs a day its extremely healthy for pregnacy

    anyways some people are concerned about ketone spillage in breast milk but don't let this stop you from breast feeding. a baby needs to be breast fed but some people are concerned that during atkins induction you spill lots of ketones because your in ketosis and some spill out in your breast milk and because its never been really ' tested ' when the baby drinks that people don't want to risk anything so they recommend you eat atleast 40 or was it 50 net carbs a day so your not in ketosis while breast feeding

    personally though other cultures of people who breast feed while in ketosis i havent seen any problems but non the less if you want to be doing atkins you can't be in ketosis while breast feeding so you need to be eating atleast 40 or more net carbs a day i think

        Congratulations on the baby!

        You are not breastfeeding, are you?

        I lost like 9 pounds the first week and nothing since! I have been on for two and half weeks.
        If you want to post a typical menu, with amounts and net carbs for each food/drink, we could make some suggestions.

          NO I did not do atkins while pregnant. I just wasn't sure about that. But I have gained alot of weight with the pregnancy and no I am not breastfeeding anymore. I am very anxious to see the scale move some more!! lol
