4 net carbs. To me this is a great rung 2 choice. But, is it a frankenfood?
My cravings are gone! I just got it today so I dont know if it will cause me to stall.

No, it's not a frankenfood. I sometimes get the regular, unflavored version when I can't find Valio.

Hood Calorie Countdown used to be called Carb Countdown until low-carb became a bad word. It is an acceptable product for the dairy rung and is nice because of the low carbs, one can enjoy an 8 oz. glass of milk. It is a low fat product though so keep that in mind.

Remember that a glass of the chocolate version will count as one of your sweeteners for the day. I don't know if it will cause you to stall. That is what introducing new foods in OWL is all about. If it does, I would try the plain version to see if it is milk that stalls you or the chocolate/Splenda/ACE-K combo.

Okay thanks Mizski. Fage is the only other rung 2 food I eat. And I know that doesn't stall me, even when I eat a whole cup (7 carbs). We shall see if Hoods products will become a staple for me!

I love the FAGE Greek yogurt. Hard to find the full fat version around here now though so I've been buying Trader Joe's FF version.

When you get to the berry rung, it is fabulous with some berries mixed in.

well that brings me to my next question. Should I use the regular in my coffee?
1 cup cc has 3 carbs.
            1 cup cream has 6.64.
But, cream has much more fat, which is a good thing!! AHH WHAT TO DO?

I would stick with the cream in the coffee and the milk as your dairy Rung 2... If you use it in the coffee then you would have less of a serving for your 5 net carbs because you would still only be allowed the 5 carbs! I hope that makes sense!

Dr Atkins in DANDR says you can add back 1/2 cup of cream as part of your rung 2 foods if your body can tolerate it. you can use a little of both but test them on different days so you know which if either is causing you an issue.

The trouble with the fat free or low fat FAGE is that it breaks during cooking so I'm thinking that adding cream won't help that issue. The TJ's FF (full fat) version is great. Also, when I can't get over there, I buy the Dannon Plain full fat yogurt, add a bit of cream to it and strain it overnight. Nice and thick like FAGE and it doesn't break!
