    i have been on this diet now for 6 weeks i have been really good and nobody has said nor have i lost really any weight which i feel dissapointing i feeel good but i expected better results, am i asking for too much

    You kind of contradicted yourself. You said no one has said anything (I presume you mean about your weight loss), and then you said you really didn't lose any weight. Well if you didn't lose any weight, what is there for people to say???
    I think what you are really trying to day is you are disappointed that you are not losing. So that we can help you, you need to tell us a few things:


    1-*It helps everyone answer your questions better if you put your info in your signature so it can be seen every time you post.

    also----height, start date, is helpful as well as age and sex.

    2-Are you reading the 2002 Dr Atkins new diet Revolution book and following the rules?

        How much have you lost?

        Why are you still on Induction?

        People don't say anything ... doesn't mean they don't notice.

        Did they say anything to you when you were gaining?

            Atkins has 4 phases for a reason.

            Most of your weight should be lost on OWL.

            If you keep doing what you're doing, you're most likely to keep getting the results you've been getting.

            Have you posted a menu for us to look at?

              It doesn't seem like you have that much to lose, so maybe your weight loss isn't that noticable.

              I stalled after two weeks on induction. Moved up to Ongoing Weight Loss (OWL) and started losing again. The first rung is only Induction plus eating some more veggies. Try it.

              Give us some more info about yourself and what you're eating.

                im 46 years of age
                my typical day would be a 3 egg spanish ommeltte with 3 slices of bacon,peppers onions mozarella cheese,courgettes, tomato

                lunch tin sardines , cheese, tomatoes,

                dinner chicken stir fry with peppers, onions brussel sprouts mushrooms

                dessert 3 eggs mixed with cream cheese with nutmeg cinnamon, splenda sugar and then fried like a pancake

                i only drink water and coffee

                      I suggest you list your food on FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal
                      Lets see how many net carbs and how many calories you are having.

                      I was thinking you are eating a lot of whole foods and it is looking pretty good. So maybe just a bit of adjustment once we have the numbers.

                          yes im in gym i go 3 days a week, i run 3 km and then do some abdominal crunch, and some weight machines
