i have seen many posts here about using mayo in oopsie rolls instead of cream cheese- when i went to buy some all the mayo has soy oil-- i believe this is not legal on induction-- anyone know for sure?

Re: mayonnaise
If you didn't use cream cheese, it would just be some eggs and Splenda and a bit of cream of tartar. It wouldn't be a "versatile bread subsitute".
Nor is there any mayonnaise in them.

We were just discussing it here. They are called Revolution Rolls

Re: mayonnaise
Yes they are fine. The key is to get those eggs right.

Re: mayonnaise
>>Revolution Rolls>>
The original Atkins Diet Revolution Rolls (from the 1972 book) used:
2 eggs, Sugar Twin, cream of tartar, and cottage cheese.
So calling oopsies made with mayonnaise "revolution rolls" does the original recipe a disservice, in my opinion. Too bad a more original name couldn't have been used.J.

Re: mayonnaise
Sometimes J you really mix me up
Oopsies are something cleocathra cooked up and she feel they are better than the original Revolution Rolls. She adds 3 oz of cream cheese instead of 3 tablespoons. In my humble opinion 3 tablespoon is good enough.
The original revolution rolls can be made with mayo or cream cheese or if on rung 2 cottage cheese.

The recipe in the 1972 ADR doesn't mention using mayo or cream cheese. It clearly uses "cottage cheese". There wasn't any "rung 2" either in the 1972 ADR.
Any change to the original recipe is just that ... a change. It's no longer "the same". So it shouldn't use the same name.J.
