  • 2002 version or 1992 version?

Is it beneficial to read the original book even if you've already read the 2002 version? (I am attracted to scientic explanations of methods, but have little interest in recipes and multiple individual success stories (those are the only parts of the 2002 version I'm skipping over), if that helps you understand what type of books I get the most from.)

    Thanks

The first Atkins book was actually Dr. Atkins' Diet Revolution, published in 1972.

I've read the older editions as well, not only 2002. I think it's interesting to see how the diet changed in time.

Most of the science behind Atkins is explained in DANDR 2002 though. I don't remember reading a lot more in previous editions.

A book I found useful for science stuff is Atkins Diabetes Revolution.
