  • So happy

So this morning I woke up and weighed myself and I'm down to 198 I'm SO HAPPY!!!!

The strange thing is....the past 3-4 days I can't eat. I don't know what's wrong with me but everytime I try and eat I feel like I'm going to be sick. I've been able to get a few things down, but not near enouhg. Any ideas? Other then that, I feel great. I don't feel sick to my stomach any other time of day, just when eating....especially breakfast.

    Congratulations on the 198!

As to not being able to eat ... is it possible you're really sick?

One of the side effects of ketosis is appetite suppressant ... any chance that's it?

      Re: So happy

I don't think I'm sick because I feel great the rest of the day.
Maybe it's the appetite supressant thing....I'm not sure. I'm not getting my 20g of carbs, that's for sure. I'm trying to eat high carb veggies like red peppers when I can so I can get as many carbs in as possible from what I am eating.

That's not a good thing. That will backfire on you.

I know I'm trying to eat as much as I can.

What vegetables are you eating, other than red peppers?

Mind listing your veggies, with quantities and net carbs?

Also, did you check your vitamins and minerals in FitDay, to see how they compare to the RDAs?

                  Re: So happy

I found in the first few weeks I felt a bit sick and could only stomach a few hard boiled eggs for breakfast...I must admit at times I had to remind myself to eat them! But now I am hungry for my 3 meals a day ..and the sickness has gone! So it is probably just switching over and I didn't used to eat breakfast before I started this so even more a new woe! You will get through it and want your 3 meals a day ...good luck it will all be worth it!

Sounds like pregnancy to me...LOL..kidding! I experienced this. Oddly, I went from wanting to eat everything to NOT wanting to eat anything...lol...I usually grazed when this first happened. Although I am still in ketosis, it has gotten alot better!

Congrats on making it to Onederland!!!!! I so wish I was there! I'll be there soon enough though!

if day 1 you eat an amount of vegetables with x amount of nutrition and it adds up too 10 net carbs. then day 2 eat an amount of vegetables with the same x amount of nutrition but that add up to 15 net carbs. theres no harm in eating the day 1 amount of vegetables that only add up to 10 net carbs

also i think red peppers are more like a medium-low carb vegetable
