We are moving to Wa from CO. I am trying to avoid the restaurants as much as possible. I need snack and easy lunch ideas for the road we are taking a cooler with us. And for dinner andy ideas on what we can do to stay on track. We maybe in the middle of nowhere with only fast food available.

Re: Moving across states, need travel snack ideas
pepper and green beans and cucumber sticks with a legal dip. Hard boiled eggs. Cheese. I suggest moving up to OWL and getting yourself to a dairy level. You could add cottage cheese and a little plain yogurt (good for dips and easy to eat with no prep) and then if on Rung 3 you would have almonds too--I have trouble with nut control but almonds arent as addictive and stave off hunger for a long time.

Cut up veggies with a small tupperware container full of ranch (or other legal dip)
Cream cheese and celery
Pre-peeled hardboiled eggs
Cheese sticks
Fried pork chops or chicken breast cut into strips (I like to eat these cold)
Pork rinds
These crunchy cheese and pepperoni snacks
Make this cauli pizza, cut into pieces (it's good cold!)
Atkins bars and shakes, as long as they don't give you "tummy issues". I know it's not technically legal for induction, but I think these are great to help you stay on track while traveling.

Re: Moving across states, need travel snack ideas
I just got back from a 6 hour trip from my mother in law's. I took a pound of sliced turkey breast and colby Jack cheese to make turkey roll ups. I also took along macadamia nuts and string cheese. you can also make " nasty pickles" which are dill pickles rolled up in ham and cream cheese. They are the bomb.
good luck. you can do it
