    sugar free jello

Is it true that you should only have jello once a week because it will slow you down? It is day 1 for me so just trying to plan my week ahead.

Sugar free Jello is not limited to once per week.

Sweeteners, on the other hand, are limited to 3 servings per day. Each serving of gelatin dessert counts as 1 serving of sweetener.

Dr. Atkins wrote that we should avoid aspartame, as he observed it can slow down weight loss.

He also wrote that we shouldn't have dessert every day.

My advice would be to use Induction to starve your sweet tooth and go with no gelatin dessert at all.

Jello brand gelatin is sweetened with aspartame. In the book, the gelatin dessert mentioned in the Sample Induction Menu is a gelatin dessert sweetened with sucralose. So they aren't the same thing.

I agree with Georgianna that desserts shouldn't be an everyday thing, but a once in awhile thing. So instead of planning for something sweet for dessert, why not plan for a really, rich creamy cheese like Brie or Camembert or "say no" to dessert altogether?

Use your Atkins journey to break the bad (or questionably bad) food habits you have adopted and make new habits.
