Are the ingredients of hummus on the Induction food list?

        Re: Hummus

Since you posted your blog, I have some comments:

"1 teaspoon orange or lemon zest" ... not on the Induction food list.

"1/4 cup balsamic vinegar" ... not allowed on Induction.

"1/2 cup hoisin sauce" ... check the ingredients ... it probably has sugar, and is thus not Atkins friendly.

"1 cup sushi rice" ... not allowed on Induction ... or until late in OWL.

"2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 can cheddar cheese or nacho cheese soup" ... neither of these are Atkins friendly ... check the list of ingredients.

        "
Approximately 30 frozen meatballs" ... if these are commercial, they most likely have bread filler, so aren't Atkins friendly.

Before that it appears to be "pre" Atkins!

To be successful, you do not just look at the carb counts and other nutrition info, you have to look at the ingredients. If any of the ingredients are not on the Acceptable Induction Food List, then the item is not allowed on Induction. Do you have the book/and or have you read the stickies here about Induction.

          Maybe these will help you.

This is where you start---“Read the Book”---This is the Version followed on the ADBB.

Thank you for looking at my blog!!!

I realize this. I like to try to post a recipe a day. So for the past few months everything that we've made I have stored in my que to post instead of posting all in one day. We've just started Atkins so I haven't posted any of those recipes yet. These recipes are Pre-Atkins.

Thank you though. Keep checking and let me know if you see anything that's not right when I post my Atkins section.
