    Re: I feel so weak!

Thanks everybody, it is nice to know I'm not alone in this. I started off really well, but he past 4 or so days I've had no energy to finish my workouts...I'm on day 11. I know in the book it does state to take it easy during the first two weeks, in the latest book, they go as far as saying not to start an exercise routine (if you were not previously active) during induction. I will just keep plugging along, I know the strength will come back

Ziggy, Thanks again for another great piece of advise!!! I always wanted to just "Jump" right in... healthy eating, working out hard, and crash so soon!!!

It is okay if it takes me a little longer to get there, besides this is where I'm going to stay forever and that is a really long time!!!

Is it against the rules to start on the rungs early? And maybe introduce 2 rungs at the same time. For the past 3 days I have lost a pound a day. That is starting to freak me out.
Dr Atkins suggested that if we start to feel tired on induction (he called it 'ascent weakness') that we add another portion of vegetables from the induction list.
So you could try adding 5 net carbs of your induction veggies to get more nutrition and hopefully more energy
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
