    All I seem to find is bacon cured with sugar, but packages say 0 carbs. Is this safe to eat while on this diet?

    I use Oscar Meyer ... it wasn't ever a problem for me.

    It's not 0 carbs though.

      Try to find gwaltney's, its cured with water no sugar added zero carbs. Wal-mart and other major stores useally carry it.

        yep sugar and salt are in the cure for most bacon. Kroger makes a sugar free bacon that is also lower sodium

            Thanks for that information!!! I will go to Walmart and hope they have that brand as all I could find was the sugar cured kind!!! Yay!!! I can't wait to add bacon to my egg breakfast!!
