My dreams about eating non-atkins foods have taken over my other dreams. And I wake up screaming louder than nightmares

i find i am saving a lot of money by being on this diet. i have seen others here also say this diet was expensive. i just dont see how. i have followed the induction rules exactly the way they are laid out in dandr and is costing me about $10 bucks a day.

                Re: dreams

The foil taste in your mouth sounds like too much iron. Have you had a physical exam and blood work done recently? Also, if you are "trying" not to think about things, subconsciously, you are thinking about them which may express those thoughts through dreams.

As far as the cost, I can see how it may be more expensive when it comes to families of 2+. Like for us, I used to ALWAYS make pasta. It was cheap and lasted days. I remember once, we had no money. I had a jar of spaghetti sauce and a pack of noodles and that lasted my husband and I for 3 days of lunches and dinners. Our default was always Ramen noodles or grilled cheese too (Both pretty cheap). Now (with protein and veggies and cheese), our grocery bill has gone up but we shop at discount stores and cut coupons and watch for sales.

I think Ziggy meant vitamin C.

Vitamin C is great for colds... boosts the immune system and helps it pass quicker!

                      Re: dreams

yeah i didn't think about the family aspect on the cost. i was eating out every single day for every single meal. you wanma talk about expensive. i could spend close to 20 bucks for dinner at wendys just for myself! so on top of feeling much better this plan has saved me a lot of coin. problem is i don't know what to do with it. normally when i had extra money i would spend it on strippers and beer!

Having been on the Atkins for two weeks I have found that where I don't normally acknowledge having dreams, I can often remember having them in the morning, which is very unusual for me.
