What's A Good Multi Vitamin Without Iron

I heard from someone that I shouldn't have Ironin my multiVitamin
What can Iron do to my diet if I take it?

Can someone tell me a brand name for a multi vitamin without Iron but has all the vitamins requirments that I would need on Atkins.

Get a good multiple vit for "seniors", "mature".

Others can explain better, but the way I understood it, is we should be getting enough iron from our food, and the extra iron we would get from the vitamin would not be good for you.

A case when more is "too much."

Did you read about why no iron in your DANDR? It's in chapter 11.

Any "senior" multivitamin won't have iron ...

Uh No!!! I havent read the book. I just started Atkins & im waiting for my book to come in. Im just tryin to get this answered so I can go out & buy it 2morrow... THANKS YOU!!!

Oh. Well, in short, too much iron can be constipating or toxic.

Centrum Silver or a generic store brand version would be good to get you started until you read more about the supplements in the book. If buying generic check the label to make sure there is no iron. After that, you may want to add some additional supplements to your multi depending upon your needs. HTH

p.s. Do not get the Centrum Silver for Women as it has iron in it. Don't know why...senior vitamins are not supposed to have iron!
