    Re: Why Fitday?

Hmm...well...I seem to be getting on well with FitDay at the moment, its really interesting to analyse what you are eating etc. I can also I guess show other people to get advice on food choices right?

      Yes.

To make your Fitday public, log in, go to the Profile tab, click on the blue Public Settings Page at the bottom, click on the "Make My Journal Public" button. Then you'll get a link at the top:

      http://fitday.com/fitness/PublicJournals.html?Owner=<name of your fitday account>

      Post that here.

          Re: Why Fitday?

I find fitday to be counterproductive to my weight loss. I became fixated on arbitrary calories, and I actually ended up eating more! For example, if i was full and I entered my food and saw I was under, say 1500 calories, I would eat more because I felt I had a buffer zone. Same thing if I went over and was still hungry I wouldn't eat anymore. It led me to not listen to my body and just focus on numbers.

Now I just write down the carbs i eat or add them up in my head (I round up) and I found I am more in control

Yes, sometimes I try to ignore the total calories and just concentrate on the carbs instead, but it is hard not to see those totals
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
