Re: What's Daily Allowance On Heavy Cream
Heather,
The list of Induction friendly Acceptable foods and the limits on some items are here.
Liv and I posted some info on your fat question thread. Here is my post again.
Posted on the other thread----
Well maybe once you have read the book, you will get better at putting your foods and fat together. And Fitday is a very important tool as well. A lot of the successful people here will agree to that.
This is where you start---“Read the Book”---This is the Version followed on the ADBB.
Dr. Atkins in Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution, 2002 ed
Besides what Liv gave you, Here are more links to read (while you are ordering the book---not meant to take the place of reading the book) or even if you have the book :

Re: What's Daily Allowance On Heavy Cream
Acceptable Beverages
Be sure to drink a minimum of eight eight-ounce glasses of water each day, including:
Filtered water
Mineral water
Spring water
Tap water
Additionally, you can have the following:
Clear broth/bouillon (not all brands; read the label)
Club soda
Cream, heavy or light (limit to two to three tablespoons a day; note carbohydrate content)
Decaffeinated coffee or tea*
Diet soda made with sucralose (Splenda); be sure to count the carbs
Essence-flavored seltzer (must say "no calories" and should not contain aspartame)
Herb tea (without barley or any fruit sugar added)
Lemon juice or lime juice (note that each contains 2.8 grams carbohydrate per ounce); limit to two to three tablespoons
*Excessive caffeine may cause unstable blood sugar and should be avoided by those who suspect they are caffeine dependent. Everyone should try to avoid caffeine. Grain beverages (coffee substitutes) are not allowed. Alcoholic beverages are also not permitted during Induction; those low in carbohydrates are an option, in moderation, in later phases.259/206/149
