Re: What to eat on a Long Flight

I agree, phone the airline admin and explain that you need to know ahead of time what's allowed and what's not.

I too have bought the most expensive bottled (nasty!) water in my life after security checkpoint, but you do what you have to do.

Even if you're not on the rung yet, I brought along a huge bag of almonds. If its no longer allowed by security to bring your own bagged foods, do glance at Dunkin Doughnuts or Starbucks. I found a bag of almonds with seasalt in Starbucks. Be sure you flip the bag over and read the contents though. You will be shocked at how many use cornstarch on their nuts.... and no, no, no that will kick you off your diet! Ditto the jerkies. Read the labels. I've been knocked clear off my diet so many times by those stupid packaged beef jerkies

Far better to eat a huge breakfast, then keep sipping your water throughout the day if you cannot bring something acceptable with you.

Are you going somewhere exotic for a holiday? Or just a trip for work?
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
