    Just passing through really because I keep getting these prompts from Tom.

    I made it through Christmas, no worries, no yearnings, no cravings and then I did something totally weird. As my hubby put it "I went off the reservation"... completely! I kept trying to eat cookies and would get sicker than a dog and keep it up

    We were in the midst of a very brutal winter, our central heating went out along with the hot water heater and I was at the end of my tether since I was recatching the same wretched cold that I'd had since October. Oh, I was still on my diet the whole way through the flu, and the cold

    Anyhoo, a Scottish friend explained it to me. She said your body was freaking out, and remembered being 'this way' and simply said, "oh, okay I'm at this stage again, and this is how I should eat." Thank heavens for good friends!

    Picked myself up, dusted myself off and am back on my Atkins. I've had to verrry gradually ease back into my exercise routine as I underestimated how badly the cold had drained my physical reserves, but I'm doing my mainstay exercises and I'm just now adding my secondary toning exercises

    All in all, I regained 8lbs and 6% bodyfat from my 'splurge/sideways' deviation, but its okay. I know I'm good because of my health, I need to keep it clean 'n definitely need to keep up with my exercise. LOL, although I do tend to keep my mouth shut about both. Its amazing the backlashes from people when you say you're doing either

    And thank you, thank you, thank you for the girl who posted about the egg milkshakes!!! I've been pondering how to go about doing this for a long time, and the Capella flavor drops look like they might be a helpful way to go forwards. Yeahhhhhhh

    Today 136.5lbs, 33% bodyfat. Goal 122lbs, 22 -24% bodyfat. I WILL get there, in my own due time

    I am glad you popped in to say hello to your ADBB family

    It looks as if you are well back on track now

    F/60 yrs/5ft 5.5" (Though due to collapsing vertebrae I am now only 5'3" - but I refuse to recalculate my BMI )

      Thanks, though I'm more of a lurker on here. I've been on Atkins for much of my life, but its so nice to see a group of people soooo dedicated to the true Atkins way of living

      Sorry to hear about your bad back. I've got my fingers crossed that it will be on the mend for you quickly. Meantime, thank heavens for laptops, eh?
