this is a high fat, medium protein, low carb dietOriginally posted by heatherhitz View PostOMG!!! I never found a diet that U can fry ur food... Yay I can have my wonderful fried Pork Chop OMG!!! something to aim for is 65% fat, 30% protein, 5% carbs but don't stress over it if your % is off its mainly the 20 net carbs a day
but make sure you never eat more protein than fat but its really easy to eat more fat cause of oils and butter and such a chicken egg is 61% fat
fat is natural and healthy too the whole saturated fat being bad for us was a lie and all the low fat dogma is a lie too
a human mothers breast milk is 50-57% calories from fat so even at birth we eat a high fat diet
i would not recommend canola oil because today 80% of the acres sown are genetically modified canola so chances are that canola oil your buying is GMOOriginally posted by poobears1972 View PostYep you can fry in butter or in oil, I use canola oil for frying. Crushed pork rinds make a nice breading to use after an egg wash for lots of crunch.

You can approximate by taking the difference between the amount of oil you started with and the amount left after frying. How would U know how much oil is in ur food when ur frying it on pan fry or even a fryer?
But oil has no carbs, so it's not that important to know down to 1 g how much you are eating."Get action. Seize the moment. Man was never intended to become an oyster."

Re: Frying Your Food?
If your pork chop has plenty of fat on it you might not even need to add any extra fat at all. For added flavour I add a little butter though
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Re: Frying Your Food?
I fry using olive oil and butter. To make 5 steaks (this feeds my whole family) I measure 2tbs of butter and 2tbs of olive oil. I also brush a lot of my baked foods with melted butter to help crisp it up.Mini Goals
