Hello everyone,
I am on my second day of induction and as its all new to me I am seriously hoping I could have some reassurance that I am doing this correctly?
I found yesterday that I was very hungry and I wondered if that was because I went to the gym.
I use fitday and this is what I ate:
Breakfast
2 oz cheese
one egg
cooked in butter
Lunch
one beef steak
one red pepper 6.0g carbs
2 celery sticks 2.1 carbs
Radishes 1.5 carbs
Cucumber 2.3 carbs
Snack before gym
2 beef sausages 0.7 carbs
Dinner
.....was also half my lunch because I work out so to stick to the 6 hours eating rule, I had half my lunch and then the rest for dinner.
I was going to stick to the above but after the rest of my lunch which I had for dinner, I was hungry at 10pm so I had 2.5 sausages.
Before I move on to today, this was my consumption from yesterday (without the 2.5 sausages):
Calories: 1,548
Fat: 130.01
Carbs 19.8
Protein 75.3
Now looking at this, I'm concerned that the 2.5 sausages took me over my carb intake :/ Should I be concerned?
Also, should I be counting the carbs in the vegetables? I know you can have up to 250 but that makes for a lot of carb....so do I ignore this and just look out for carb elsewhere? I had no bagged salad. What I mean, in case that didn't make sense, is if my carb intake is 20grams WITHOUT vegetables ( I guess that would be a lot of cheese or sausages), can I STILL have the salad vegetables, knowing that one red pepper is 6grams in carbs....?
This is really important and something I'm confused about

Today I had:
Breakfast
2 large eggs 0.9 carbs
2 thin bacons 0.1 carbs
fried in butter
Lunch
Steak
and then the same veg I had yesterday more or less which totals to: 12.8 carbs
Snack:
50 grams of cheese - 2.4 carbs
I was going to have half my lunch today and then the rest for dinner but I started to feel quite dizzy so I ate all my steak and veg and I'm STILL hungry!
I am off to the gym tonight and as I've eaten my dinner at lunch, I am going to have some fish or some pork, but I know this will take my calorie intake over what I intended. Currently, I stand at:
Calories: 1,633
Fat: 136.8
carbs: 17.3
Protein: 84.2
I know that watching calories isn't as important as watching carbs, but I am concerned about eating too much.
PLEASE could someone confirm that it wouldn't be an issue for me to eat more meat tonight? And also confirm if I am eating enough carbs etc?
I find it very difficult to work things out because I am not fantastic at Maths but I have read the book and I am doing my best.
(how do I also work out my fat percentage out of my calories?)
Am I doing this wrong?
Thank you SO much in advance.
