  • 2 months and down 35 pounds!

I feel so much better already, but I have so far to go! Next month I go for a follow-up visit with my physician to have follow-up blood work done and I can't wait to see the results. I have more energy. I am working out with a trainer twice a week. I am still on and will remain on Extended Induction for a couple of more weeks before I move to the first rung of OWL.

Most of all, I have had a lot of people ask me if I am losing weight. It is hard to tell on someone my size, but 35 pounds is still a lot and that people have noticed is great. My clothes are fitting more loosely and I actually wore a dress shirt I had not worn in a couple of years last week!

If this ol' boy can do it, I KNOW that you can! Stop with the excuses and just DO IT!!

    Outstanding!

You will find, for us carrying massive amounts of excess weight that it will come off quicker at first.

Keep up the good work, your knees, ankles and back will thank you in the long run, I base that on the way mine feel now compared to before.

When I started, stairs were a no no, walking was breathtaking, I had gotten to a point that I only wore slip on shoes so I wouldn't have to bend over and tie them.

Avoid people who tell you you show slow down, you are loosing too fast. They can be a real pain. Keep the Doc in the loop.

Pat yourself on the back and shoot for the next 35 pounds.

As Red Green always says, "We're all in this together."

I was going to say exactly the same thing! I put all of my textbooks and notebooks in my bookbag and weighed them because it feels SO heavy when I put it on and it only weighed 24 lbs. That means I was carrying 10 more pounds of weight on my body.

I'm right with you - a few days shy of 2 months and down 35 lbs! It's so awesome!
