Re: Why am i on a plateau already?
I'm not sure I understand, so please correct me if I'm wrong. Did you have alcohol and chicken wings with some sort of sugary sauce on them... and you're wondering why you aren't losing anymore?
Posting one or two complete menus, with quantities and net carbs for all foods, would also help us answer your question."Get action. Seize the moment. Man was never intended to become an oyster."

How much weight in total are you looking to lose, Ben?
Did you work out your metabolic resistance to weightloss using that number and your 14-day weightloss number?
Staying on induction for longer than the first 2 weeks is not always the best choice.Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

And by the way, Dr. Atkins defined a plateau as 4 weeks with no loss of pounds or inches. A week and a half with no weight loss is not a plateau."Get action. Seize the moment. Man was never intended to become an oyster."

Re: Why am i on a plateau already?
After 4 weeks on this diet, I had 3 weeks where I didn't lose anything. I just keep plugging along and then I had a 7 lb loss in one week. Just keep going, maybe switch up what your eating a bit, drink your water and you'll see that the weight will start coming off again
Good luck!

Re: Why am i on a plateau already?
So you lost in your first 2 weeks then cheated and haven't lost in 1.5 weeks? I wouldn't worry, you probably had a set back due to the cheat, that's the price we pay if we choose to go off plan. Get your body clean again and you should start seeing the weight drop again. Next time you want to cheat remember the results you had this time. Also you won't lose every week even if you eat 100% on plan. Our bodies dont' work that way long term. You'll have weeks you won't lose, you may even have weeks you gain. If you stay on plan you should start seeing results, try not to worry until several weeks have passed.
