  • Splenda deal next week at Meijer

I used to run a website that matched coupons with sale items for some spectacular deals. However, most of the stuff I bought and got cheap is exactly why I am here - it was unhealthy. I said my goodbyes to my readers and stopped posting to my site. I won't be chasing the deals as intensely as I used to and thought about making my site just for LC deals, but, there are so few items that would apply.

I've spotted my first LC great deal and I'm itching to share!

The entire line of Splenda is going to be 25% off next week at Meijer.

On top of the sale, there's a Meijer Mealbox Coupon here (store coupon) for $1/2 any Splenda products.

To sweeten the deal further, there are coupons at clipping services (I use The nations largest source of Grocery Coupons, manufacturer Coupons and Printable Coupons.) from a past newspaper for $1 off any Splenda coffee flavors and $1 off any Splenda item.

You can combine the store coupon with the manufacturer's coupon.

Final price will be 25% off, plus $1.50 each item. I haven't seen a Splenda stock-up price like this in months! (A $2.99 item would have a final cost of .74!)

There are also printable coupons available at splenda for $1/2 products or $3.50 off 2 larger products.

Other LC deals I saw in the ad preview:

    Eggs .88

    Philadelphia Cream Cheese .99

Re: Splenda deal next week at Meijer

The regular price on the 200 count Splenda packs are $7.49, so, if you buy 2
    =$14.98
    -25% ($3.75) = $11.03
-$3.50/2 Splenda printable coupon from Splenda website = $7.53
-$1/2 Meijer Mealbox printable coupon (can use in conjunction with manufacturer's coupon) = $6.53

That's $6.53 for 400 packets of Splenda. Better than 50% off. Woohoo!

Yeah, I used to be a *major* coupon clipper and saver. Produce and meat don't lend themselves well to coupons, so I spend a little more each week, but I feel soooo much healthier.

        Start date: 03/14/09
        Goal #1 - 260 - Met 04/12/09! Goal #4 - 230 - Met 08/03/09!
        Goal #2 - 250 - Met 05/22/09! Goal #5 - 220 - Met 01/29/10 FINALLY!
        Goal #3 - 240 - Met 06/20/09! Goal #6 - 210
