I am not a vegetarian. What are you criteria for suitable?
Are you avoiding animal products?
Looking for healthy complete source of protein?
Trying to lose weight?
Trying to eat whole foods that are unprocessed and good for you?

Thanks for the replies. I thought certain Atkins products were ok for induction? the website (UK) seems to indicate that some of the bars etc are ok for the first phase.
In answer to your question, yes I'm looking for protein sources but just avoiding all animal products.
You need to look at the ingredients of any food to make sure it is fine for your chosen way of eating (vegetarian etc) and phase of Atkins rather than relying on what a marketing label says
If everything listed as an ingredient is 'legal' for you then the food is 'legal'.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies? Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

kilsby im going to be honest and i hope you don't take it the wrong way
i have never seen in my life anyone who has been able to get all the nutrients there body needs with out eating any animal products however maybe its possible if you eat bugs? but im guessing you don't eat bugs
we can eat animal products with out causeing any harm to animals look what this website says and click on the ' about us ' part and schroll down and read the how we farm they treat there animals really good! Welcome to Wild Thing Organics
also since you eat mostly vegetarian here is some things you should know make sure the soy you eat is 100% properly fermented to get all the toxins out i only know of japan that does so cause western society rushes or doesnt ferment it at all and here are the horrible side effects of soy thats not prepared properly
remember i don't know of any soy in western society thats safe to eat but also iv heard recently that japans fertility rate is way down and im wondering if they are not prepairing there soy the naturally traditional way 100% properly fermented anymore
