  • Diet/Exercise Journaling Websites

I only know of two, Fitday and sparkpeople.

So far, I am a little more keen on sparkpeople because there are more options when entering food, including different brands and restaurant food, plus it's really easy to enter nutrition information manually.

I also love the sparkpeople fitness maps. You enter your walk/jog route on a map, your time and weight, and it calculates your speed and theoretical calorie burn.

What is your favorite? What are your favorite features?

I did my steps on the walkacrossamerica website and walked from Del to CA ADBB used to have a challenge there we tracted and posted here.

I used fitday for foods and I use the custom foods to enter any foods not found there that I eat espically my recipes.

I started with fitday so carry on with it, but many others here love sparkpeople!

Having USA-type restaurant foods info is of no use to me over here, so I just look stuff up as and when needed, write emails, make phonecalls and set up custom entries for frequently visited places I go to and meals I eat.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Where is the restaurant information coming from on Sparkpeople? The restaurant or some individual?

If an individual, I would double check their work ... it might not be accurate.

Most fast food and chain restaurant foods have been entered by sparkpeople. You can search for member-entered foods, and I agree, if you search this way it should be double-checked!

On sparkpeople you can also make a 'food grouping,' so, if you are like me and eat the same combination over and over again, you can add them to your daily total with a click.
