10 weeks ago I began this journey with high hopes and a even higher weight. Today, I weighed myself and was shocked to see 198!! 37 pounds in 10 weeks! This diet rocks. When people ask me how I've lost weight, I tell them that I eat bacon every day for breakfast, that always gets a crazy look.
I've gone from a size 42 waist to a 36. My brand new XXL wardrobe that I got for Xmas is now obsolete, too baggy to wear. I can now fit in to all my old XL clothes, and even some Large size as well.
2 fellow workers of mine also started a diet in January but they decided to do the low-cal thing. One has lost 8 pounds, the other 6. I keep telling them to count carbs not cals, they won't hear of it. Their loss I guess, then again...they are not loosing much in comparison.
Well, I'm off for a 5 mile hike.
