    I am so mad at myself right now.

    I regret to inform you all that I have given into the suger demon today.

    All my kid's easter candy was looking at me. It started out as just one piece and has now turned into....4 Reese's peanut butter eggs
    1 snickers mini
    2 snack size nutter butters

    My reasoning??? I thought "It's ok. You can have one piece. you were at your lowest weight ever this morning. Just go ahead, it won't hurt."

    I realize that it has already been eaten and there is nothing I can do about it now.
    Except I can get up and go for a walk. Which is what I am going to do right now.

    Hope everyone is having a good Easter. Don't give into temptation like I did.

    Watch for cravings and keep them at bay. Fire up some water bottles to stay strong.

      Well you are not the first one nor the last one so don't beat yourself down..just don't do "the since I already ate all this candy, might as well go all out and do the cake and pizza thing and I will start clean tomorrow"..just start right now..get some water, go for that walk and make your next bite atkins friendly and your sugar % of the day is gone for the next week lol! I am weird candy does nothing for me, what had me bouncing today were crackers! my sister bought this round crackers she likes to butter up and I wanted some! so I went to my room to drink water and read a book, told them that when I got out that I hope they had finished or hidden the darn crackers! I still want some but lucky for me they are all gone :hew:::

      I started atkins in late november but every other week just sort of fell off the wagon and was not working out..late december I started to really follow it and added the gym from november to december I only lost like 7 lbs not following it right..from december to march 18 I lost 50 lbs give or take depending what mood my scale is on lol.

        Aah don't beat yourself up about it you will soon be back on track...I must admit to nearly giving in today the kids had so much chocolate!!! Not easy! I am sure you won't be the only one!

          My daughter is away and too old for these things anyways. So I am without chocolate eggs. I do think in the past I did pretend the egg were for her but in reality i am the one with sweet tooth.

            Thanks for the support. I know the key here is to "make my next bite Atkins" just like summerdressgirl said.
            The funny thing is that I never really had a sweet tooth before.

              Yep just move on and learn from it. Next time instead of thinking I'm at my lowest weight ever, I can have a treat. Think OMG I'm at my lowest weight ever, no way am I going to mess that up now.

                  You'll be ok. Drink a lot of water. I have a feeling you feel so bad about it you are probably chugging it. Dump it if it temps you or bring it into your co workers to make them fat. The fatter they are, the skinner you look
                  No seriously, don't beat yourself up about it. You'll get back to your lowest weight as long as you don't eat it again.

                    Finally a good explanation of why people bring so many goodies to work. I knew it!!! And there will be plenty of leftover goodies tomorrow. So be aware!!!

                      LOL, I am bringing our secretary a plate of left overs tomorrow. My husband won't let me part with the candy. My kid has the runs, she does not need anymore candy. Poor thing :-(

                              take that evil toxic high carb candy outside and either stomp it to bits or run it over with the car a few times cause you know if you just toss it in the thrash you will be dumpster diving to get some later.

                              and next bite back on plan moving right along. also journal about how you felt so the next time that voice sasy you can have a bite you are smaller then ever today you can shut it up with just reading how you don't have a stop button when it comes to candy.
