  • so just looked at fitday and what is the..............

    So just looked at my food log and am wondering about the fat/protein parts, what is acceptable? I jus saw a huge thing for fat and im like OMG,,,,is this right???

    protein 112gr
    fat 100gr
    carbs 17 gr

    im lookin in the DANDR book to try n find something, but i thought i would just ask,,,,anyone have any idea?

    What I would recommend you focusing on is your carbs ... the rest should fall in to line.

    And if you want to fret about the other numbers, a range might be 60-75% fat, 20-30% protein and the rest carbs.

    The actual number of grams will vary from person to person since we all eat different amounts of calories.

    Do as Dr. Atkins says ... count the carbs!

      And remember that Fitday doesn't should you NET carbs ... you have to subtract the fiber (in the Calories Eaten Today window) for that.

        Thanks, that works, im within those ranges, i panicked when i saw the fat bit, like OMG im doin something wrong lol..

            ya i guess if you bail after eatin all this fat, your gonna get fat again right after because of the stuff yer eatin!!

              More likely the weight returns because you've returned to a high carbohydrate way of eating.

              High carb, high fat will likely mean a weight gain.

              High carb, low fat has meant a weight gain for many of us.

              As you know from your reading of DANDR, high fat in the absence of carbohydrates doesn't mean a weight gain.
