  • Advice on Actimel drink? Can i can't i?

Hi, i've seen a post already but can someone clarify if i can take the Actimel drink once past the induction phase? As i can have nasty tummy problems and have found that this really helps. And does taking the Psyllium husk or isphagula (marketed as Fybrogel in the UK) help in the same way??

One of the ingredients is liquid sucrose (sugar). I would think that it wouldn't be Atkins friendly. And 100 grams is over 11 net carbs.

I didn't see a version on the website that used an artificial sweetener.

I think that is called DanActive over here and is some kind of yogurt drink. Definitly not allowed on induction.
Only foods from the allowed list on induction
If you think those active bacterial help you, you can buy then separately from a pharmacy without the yogurt.

Psyllum is different I think. It is a fiber to help with digestion. I have never used it as I eat loads of veggies and for me those have been sufficient.

The fat free version has 3.3 net carbs per 100 g. It has dextrose (a form of sugar) and a bunch of artificial sweeteners. I still wouldn't consider it a good choice though.

Once you reach the diary rung of OWL, you can have plain yogurt with living bacteria. It does not need to be Actimel.
