      Re: Losing Total Control

Thanks everybody that's very nice of all of you...I never went on a binge I just simply did not follow my Owl 1 but I did not eat sugars, pop or overeat..but i can tell by how I feel that I have gained some weight but probably not much since I have a horrible cold. my stress level is due to limbo..ugh my divorce is taking forever I have been waiting for 2 years and now I am getting a time line of June! june! I miss my child and things are just nuts! but as soon as I am done with this cold I should get back to the gym..for some reason I am happier when I go to the gym..I stop going when TOM started and it all went down hill from there. Anyways I am back on the wagon again and feeling much better.

I started atkins in late november but every other week just sort of fell off the wagon and was not working out..late december I started to really follow it and added the gym from november to december I only lost like 7 lbs not following it right..from december to march 18 I lost 50 lbs give or take depending what mood my scale is on lol.

Good to hear you are back in control of your eating and going to get back to exercising too
As Stephie said - these are things you can control when the rest of your world is out of your control so hang in there
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

                  Re: Losing Total Control

My motto every since trying the first diet was that "It doesn't matter if you fall off the wagon as long as you get back on!" If you continue to do that you will eventually acheive your goals. My hardest times are during "that time of the month". My craving are incredible, my engery drops, and the water weight packs on. I might give in to a small indulgence once a day until it is over, but then I hit it hard again when the cravings go and the energy is back. Each time I get closer to my goal. Don't beat yourself up over it. Just get back on the wagon and believe in yourself! You have done an awesome job this far!!! You are only human and we all make mistakes. As long as we learn from them then life is good!

Slow and steady wins the race!!!

                    Re: Losing Total Control

Focus on the fact that you lost MORE THAN 50 POUNDS!!! That's just AWESOME ... your photos are fabulous! You're the only one that can put yourself back on track and keep yourself there but it's wonderful to know that we support your efforts, many of us have ups and downs for a variety of reasons but success, i believe, comes from not getting stuck in the 'down mode' and moving forward, well, actually moving UPWARD and deriving strength from the positive efforts we have made and positive results we've already experienced.

                      Re: Losing Total Control

You'll get through whatever is going on with you ok? Once you do you will refocus and get back on the wagon. You'll be better for it.
