  • Wheat BRan ( coarse ) a "staller" ?

I decided to trow away all my wehat bran packages last week and then I finally wento off from a long month stall I was into that almost made me give up on Atkins this time. has anyone noticed the same with this ingredient on the diet ? It think it REALLY tends to slow down the weight loss when you use it to make breads, cakes and thigs like that.

How much wheat bran were you having?

I was using like 2 to 4 tablespoons a day, but I remeber I was on Atkins / CKD back in 2008 and never used any type of flour substitute , and the weightloss was much faster back then.

Bread, cakes and stuff would certainly slow things down Well for me they would probably cause some gain

Wheat bran I use frequently. But I did not introduce it till pre maintenance. It had not caused me any problems. I prefer it to flax (taste thing)
