  • Are my numbers ok?

    I have learned that I was screwing up induction by eating sf products.

    My questions:

    Are my numbers ok, are inches lost as good as pounds or is it the other way around?

    Can I do the last week of induction or do I have to start over? (since I ate sf peeps and jello)

    -5lbs, -1 3/4" chest, -1" waist, -1 1/2" gut (that pesky overhang)

    (I am disappointed b/c when I went on atkins last time I lost 10 lbs the first week)

    Inches lost is BETTER than pounds lost, but both are a good indication of a loss. Your body can build up a metabolic resistance to certain kinds of "dieting" if that's what it is. Yo-yo dieting is self-defeating, because the next time you try the same diet, you may have less favorable results. It looks like you're doing great though. Keep up the good work.

      we do not start over just keep going and counting from whatever day today is for your since you started.
