  • Could this have caused my lethargy?

    It's going on 3 weeks on Atkins, am on extended induction but since Sunday morning I have felt lethargic and have no energy. I am sticking right on plan and it 'is' close to my TOM but I also just like 1 minute ago I have forgotten to take my Acetyl-L-Carnitine/Lipoic Acid (for the last 2 days) that I have been taking for the last 3 weeks.

    So do you think it's the lack of taking the supplement that has caused this lethargy? or am I just getting hit with the induction flu late?

      Are you getting enough food and water? Some people do not fuel their bodies well when ketosis hits and dips can happen. Make sure you get in those veggies too.

        Looking at my food journal for the last few days I could "do" with upping my veggies a bit more. Yesterday I was at 9.5 veggie carbs out of 18.8 for the day.

        Sunday I was 10.4 veggie carbs out of 19.4

        Saturday I was at 10 veggie carbs out of 17.5 total.

        So Yeah this afternoon and tommorrow I will really work on getting some more veggie carbs in there.

        Still feeling out of it and it's 3pm. Drinking a little over 100oz. of water a day too.

        So yeah maybe it is just PMS or ketosis hitting me a little hard.
