I am entering my food into Fitday and I'm seeing that I am at 18.8 carbs for the day.....however, I'm showing that 5.5 of that is dietary fiber. Does that mean I'm really at 13.3?

Re: Fitday question.
Does everyone use fitday? I found it very counterproductive.....5'4, Medium framed female.

Re: Fitday question.
I dunno, Carne, I just figure it's best to use whatever is going to keep a person counting, kwim? I figure once I memorize the carb counts, I'll likely just go back to writing in my journal, but for now, I'm still learning.

Re: Fitday question.
I like fitday. Not using it right now because I am trying to do things natural until i have to change
But it was the best thing on induction and OWL for me. But not everyone likes it. Not a requirement for sure

Re: Fitday question.
You can always look up individual carb counts for almost any USA food on the USDA database
and even download a copy for off-line use.

Re: Fitday question.
i used to use all sorts of different sites.. depending on what i was doing.
fitday
sparkpeople
etc etc
fit day is pretty good. i'm not religious about entering my food in there, but i'm also a boring eater. i eat the exact same thing except dinner 5 days a week. dinners i just make sure to have a measured out amount of veggies and a measured out amount of meat and i'm good to go.
weekends are a bit more troublesome, and when i usually tend to use fitday more.F 28years 5'7" HW 212/SW206.6/CW185/GW160
