Okay, so it's been 3 weeks (2 on Induction and 1 on "Extended Induction"). I am so proud to report that I am down 18 pounds!!! I began this journey at 306lbs, and now I am down to 288. I had some rough days where the scale was moving in the wrong direction, but it all settled out, and I am so proud. I started this journey feeling so ashamed of what I had become. I was so disgusted with how I had let myself go. I was depressed and filled with rage...all directed at myself. I felt like my parents deserved a more beautiful child or like I had failed or embarrassed them in some way. These past few weeks have bought such liberation. I had a real conversation with my mother about my feelings, and she stands behind me 100%. She is just as thrilled as I am about my progress. I'm getting my life back!! Yes......me!! One pound at a time; one day at a time, I am getting back to me.

Re: 3 weeks later; REALY??......
How old are you sbain?
If you are younger than 18 you should talk to your pediatrician before starting this diet.
I am in no way trying to discourage you or disspell your 18 puond weight loss (you've done great so far!) I just to be sure this is ok with your doctor because Dr. A. says this diet is not for young people.
Again I am just thinking of your safety and I hope you get to your goal.....safely.
