  • Need to do something to keep strong!

I am pacing my room so I decided to come and post in here until the craving passes, my sis is having people over and they are serving all the good stuff. Since my fall from the wagon the cravings are back and I have to fight them off...so instead of giving in I came here to occupy my mind by typing random stuff in here lol and looking at before and after photos until they are done. But every day since the fall I have been struggling, went back to the gym but is like you have to fight everything all over again..such a horrible feeling ugh I am going to think it 10 times before I fall again gaining weight and the cravings just bad bad bad. alright thanks for letting me rant here I am going to lock my door and watch a movie and drink water..if I don't see it it is not there, if I don't see it it is not there! lol

I am so glad you are back!

I was just thinking about you today. I knew you were having troubles and I hadn't seen you here for a while. Kepp your resolve up. Those 9 pounds will be gone again before you know it!

Keep up the fight girl! Good for you to come here instead of caving to temptation. It will get easier again once you get over this hump. Glad to hear you went back to the gym too. Hope that means you are over your illness too. Peace!

Re: Need to do something to keep strong!

I know the feeling. My roommate likes to hang out in my area (I got a huge movie room in the basement that is mine). Anyways, he is constantly buying pizza (my one true weakness), chips and other crap all the time. The other night he ordered a pizza from a place called Chicago's (has the best deep dish pizza I have ever eaten), I had to kick him out. He took a bit of offence to it, but I told him simply that if he wanted to be down here he can't have the pizza down here. After a bit of whining, he went upstairs. Made resisting the pizza easier.

Were you invited? Atkins food is really "the good stuff" ... next time, bring some and see how quickly people gobble it up.

Re: Need to do something to keep strong!

Just started a few weeks ago, but your before and now pics are inspiring. Since you've been on this for a while, I have a question...what is that ad all about on the site - lose belly fat with this one secret? I thought I WAS losing the belly fat and every other kind with Atkins. I don't want to open the ad so maybe someone else did and can tell me what they're trying to sell.

Re: Need to do something to keep strong!

if you leave the gym not wanting to go back then you have worked out too hard and or your body is just not feeling very good so don't push it too hard

so next time before you go to the gym make sure you know you need to leave the gym wanting to go back the next day then you did a good work out

also for newbies to the gym for the first week you may not want to go back if you are just starting the gym so it doesnt apply to someone just starting to go to the gym for the first time

Welcome to the board..that is just a google ad, it has nothing to do with Atkins, just ads that are around the board to help the board Owner I believe pay for what takes to manage this site and its huge amount of members.

Well done for staying away from any 'temptations' others are bringing into your house, but try not to think that way about the (I assume) carby non-Atkins food they are serving as being 'the good stuff' if you can

If you can as Atkinsgal suggested have your own 'good stuff' available that you can concentrate on instead it will be much easier to stay on your chosen food plan.

Next time she has people over make sure you have a good selection of yummy lowcarb food to eat and I bet a few of them wil be wondering how the heck you are allowed to eat such good food on your 'diet' when they have only pizzas etc to eat!

There are so many decadent 'legal' Atkins foods you could choose from that you do not have to feel deprived about not eating food full of flour and sugar!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Stay focused girl, you can do this! Have something Atkins friendly and equally delicious while you wait them out. In the end you'll be the winner (or rather the loser from losing all the extra weight!) Just remember YOU ARE WORTH IT!!!!!
