  • Vegetarian Atkins?!

    Hello everyone,

I was wondering if there were any vegetarian atkins dieters here? Has anyone used Quorn? I was looking at tesco's vegetarian hotdogs and they are very low in carbs. I'm happy to tuck in with eggs and cheese etc, it's just adding some variety. Also, I noticed we can have spinich, can this be spinich salad leaves.

I've ordered the book, should be here in the week.

    Many thanks guys in advance!

eggs are awesome theres vegetarians here who eat lots of eggs and are doing great

but also just make sure your not eating soy that stuff is very toxic and vegetarian hotdogs im guessing would be loaded with it

Yes - spinach salad is a good way to use your spinach, as for induction we are limited to a smallish amount and if you cooked that it would be only about a spoonful of it!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

Quorn is fine. Check the other ingredients in the sausages though.

        Which book did you order?

Thanks, I took a look at the hotdog sausages and i wasn't sure, so didn't get them. Have got quorn stuff. I did the atkins about 5 years ago and lost quite a bit, but so much more quorn available now, hoping it will be add some variety!

I've still got the Atkins books from them, but I've ordered the new 2010 one.

Remember when you get that new copy that we are still following the older version here so some of the stuff in the new book will be different and you could get conflicting advice if you are going by parts of it.
