Re: French dressing bad or good on atkins
For any prepared (packaged) food, you need to check the list of ingredients to ensure that all of them are on the list of foods acceptable for induction (i.e. if there is sugar in it, then it is not allowed).Julie__________________F/37/5'2"__________________Start April 15, 2009

Re: French dressing bad or good on atkins
It would probably be best to to make it homemade with the right ingredients. Most French dressings have sugar and other ingredients that makes it much higher in carbs.
I used to be a big French/Catalina dressing fan, but my tastes have changes the longer I do Atkins. Anymore, I prefer simple oil and vinegar, or occasional blue cheese or ranch dressing. Much safer and less risky that you'll get extra carbs that you didn't need.Start date: 2/22/04 347/222/135 ~ 5'2"
