    so I was naughty and had a few rum and diet cokes last night with my honey.....other than that I did not cheat...ummm how many days was it that it throws you off? 2-3....anyway I dont plan to drink again for sometime I was just wondering if any of you knew if this was a big mistake or a minor set back.
    I am CHUBBY again!

    Well - it will all depend on how your body reacts, and how well you get back on plan after deciding to drink alcohol, so really no-one can say how long it will take you to get back into losing mode.

    One problem with choosing to drink alcohol is that your body will use that alcohol as a 'preferred fuel' and so stop burning the fat/carbs you are eating while using up that alcohol as fuel, thus delaying any impending losses.

    Also you might experience some sort of reaction to the artificial sweetener/chemicals etc in the mixer too, so be aware you might have to fight cravings for 'sweet' for a while.

    Anyway the best you can do now is get back to your induction eating the very next bite and wait till you are at the relevant level/rung of OWL before trying alcohol again, so you can learn how your body reacts to it and if you want to include it as a regular part of your OWL eating.
