  • Plateau... HELP!!!

Does anyone else have the problem with plateauing after losing a some weight??? I lose about 4 - 5 kgs and then I will plateau for anywhere from 1 - 4 weeks... I stick to the eating plan religiously and it becomes very frustrating ...
Is it normal??? Is there anything I can do to jump start my weight loss again when I am in a plateau??? Any help would be much appreciated...

It sounds like it could be normal for you. Everybody has their own normal.

You're tried the suggestions in DANDR?

That you start losing again might be an indication that it's just your normal.

I absolutely have pauses all the time. That is the majority of my journey. The only time I don't pause is during induction.

I think it's just your body. I will drop the weight, the scale will go up and then down again. It can take anywhere from 3-14 days to see a difference.

Just keep with it, when the scale moves down it's all worth it.

add the mandatory exercise part of your atkins if you are not already doing it.

it is a normal human body issue to lose some and then to see no scale loss for a period of time and then see moire scale weight loss.

are you measuring so you can see the inches of body fat being burned off as you work your atkins even when the scales says no loss?
