  • Sweetener

has anyone else had any issues with too much sweetener?

sitting here vegging out thinking about what i ate today, and realized i had way more sweetener than usual.

i generally have 1 pkg in my eggnog shake, 1 pkg in my coffee and then 1 in a flax muffin if i make one when i get home.

today i had 6 :-( NOT a normal day thats for sure.

i almost want to try and get myself to eliminate them completely.. but the eggnog shakes are the only breaky i have ever been able to eat on a consistent basis.

    Re: Sweetener

You can make the flax muffin without the sweetener.

      Re: Sweetener

Good point, J, I never add sweetener to my flax muffin recipe. In fact the last one I made I added an ounce of shredded parmesan cheese to and had half of it with butter for breakfast!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

        hmm.
i will try it without sweetener then.
        thank you

btw.. i should probably not have one every day correct? it's been helping with making my system "work" properly so-to-speak.

          Re: Sweetener

You "can" have one every day.

I normally have baked flax muffins and when I have them around I eat one a day.

A lot depends on your system ... if they're "working" for you, then fine.

i quite like them, they agree with me and help me get in a bit of extra fibre.

plus they enable me to eat a smaller dinner!

Can you post the recipe to that eggnog shake? I'm very curious about it...
