Jaxmama, I am so glad that's working out good for you.. I will keep that in mind..but right now I am totally becoming addicted to sunflower seeds...ever since I was kid I have always loved them..with the shell..I made the mistake of adding them... and now its like an addiction.. LOL go figure LOLOL...
Watch out for those sunflower seeds. I've been eating those since 1975 (when I first joine dthe military) There really aren't that many carbs, because it takes a lot of work to eat them and you don't get many. I find the problem is the salt. There is way too much and that salt will make you retain water.
Seriously, whether it is sunflower seeds, smoking, alcohol, drugs, chocolate, Facebook, texting, whatever; if you get to the point where it is an addiction, get away from it.
Any time some outside source is controlling your life, you aren't!
Forbey...do you eat the ones with the shell as well?? and if so how many do you give yourself??? I am a saltoholic.. and I think that's why I have always loved those little things..

I limit myself to one ounce in their shells (which works out at about 1/2 ounce of kernels I think) which fitday says has 90mg sodium and 1 net carb.
And I make myself not pick up the next one to de-shell till I have eaten the first one, to make it take longer. Often I stop after only half of them are gone.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies? Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
Elizellen LOLOL I do the same thing.. I eat one at a time as well..because usually I eat more than one shell at a time...but what I can not figure out is how much one ounce of sunflower seeds with the shells are...is that like 2 tablespoons????
Err actually the number next to the "Consecutive Days Without Nuts" is 0...I was actually eating a peanut as I was typing that original message lol. I've decided that I'm going to make that a 1 tomorrow though. Good luck to you!

I am just kind of curious if people have stall issues or have cheated, do they go all the way back to Induction. Does that help? Does that make you get back on track?
My answer, at least so far is that I don't go back to induction. I just figure out my problem foods and cut them out. It works well for me, usually....I did go 7 months without nuts last year after they caused me problems last winter, which is one reason why my inability to quit them again is frustrating.
