Wait until you have frozen blueberries with cream poured over them.

Amazingly I don't regret not having chocolate in my life. I was a bit sad when I realized it didn't love me back, but it made the break-up easier.

I like to see this side of you. You are right, chocolate has never loved us back. And those blueberries and cream will love us!

I will have to try that to get back to that level (if I ever do).

      Re: Going back to Induction

I am going back..I have not been able to stay the same as before so I am going back to the time where I was successful, happy and go from there again...very sad really but this is what happens when we fall off the wagon, sometimes we get right back and sometimes we struggle. I am struggling big time.

I started atkins in late november but every other week just sort of fell off the wagon and was not working out..late december I started to really follow it and added the gym from november to december I only lost like 7 lbs not following it right..from december to march 18 I lost 50 lbs give or take depending what mood my scale is on lol.

        Re: Going back to Induction

It wont hurt to ask but I really doubt they will. I only say that as my friend that recently had her baby was begging for an induction due to her pelvis splitting and it causing her so much pain, and they refused to induce her even at 38 weeks. They told her they wouldn't induce until she was overdue. She gave birth a day or two before her due date. This is in Sydney, Australia.

Hopefully a herniated disc will be a good enough reason for an induction.
        Best of luck to you

Aareen - I think you have misunderstood the meaning of the word 'induction' when talking about the Atkins Way of Eating

Induction in our terms and context of discussing Atkins eating means the first phase of Atkins when we limit our foods to the list of what is allowed and stay under 20 net carbs of which most are supposed to be from your 3 cups of vegetables.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

              Re: Going back to Induction

I have never gone back to induction either...but I read here where people do... I fell off the wagon again last week, it had nothing to do with sunflower seeds, but giving into a huge craving.. and now I have 5 pounds again to lose.. so I just continue with where I am...I just have to watch myself because I have a horrible habit of starving myself....

Based on Aareen's few other posts that were also out of context with the thread and the links in Aareen's siggy, I don't think Aareen is on Atkins at all. ADBB does get occasional drive-by posters. This one was pretty entertaining though. In all my reading of various Atkins boards, I have NEVER heard this.

                  Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!

A really helpful rule from Dr. A that I take to heart is (paraphrase) if you HAVE to have something every day, then you are addicted to it and you should try to be moderate about your consumption. I think this is true even for legal foods.

I try to be moderate about things like flax bread/pancakes/porridge, mock mash, very rich casseroles, pumpkin/cream cheese mix, shakes and other very delicious legal foods. I only have things like that once or twice a week.

With desserts, I was making them every week, but now will cut down to once a month. Weekend treats are either shakes or flax pancakes.

Good idea on freezing the treats!
