  • Broccoli - 4 oz raw = how many oz cooked?

I don't want to cook more than I'm going to eat because I'm thinking broccoli leftovers won't taste so good and I don't want to waste my precious veggies. Does anyone know how raw:cooked converts out in oz?

I"m thinking cooked will be different than raw, but I'm not sure?

The volume of the cooked might be a little less, but probably not by much, especially if you don't cook it to death. It's not a vegetable that has so much shrinkage.

If you're starting with raw, then that's what you put in to Fitday.

    Leftover broccoli is good cold!

Great! I just measured out 2 cups and simmered it in the juices from my steak. Mmmm.

Ok, so it's good. I wasn't sure if I would like it or not. Best way to know is to try!
