  • Things are going well....

I have lost 18 pounds, no cravings, etc, etc, however, I cannot make myself eat. I am just not hungry. Too much food at one time makes me feel nauseous. I feel like I shouldn't be feeling this way and maybe it is a result from not eating enough. I am trying to make myself eat a few bites of something every 4-6 hours, but my question is if that's enough. I am probably eating around 1200 calories a day, with most of that coming from breakfast.

    Any tips or suggestions? Thanks!

Depending on how heavy you are, 1200 calories might be fine for your intake in amount of food. One of the effects of being in ketosis is a loss of appetite, so is a normal thing that we have to learn to work around.

Make sure that when you do eat you are not 'wasting' your appetite on non-nutritious snacks like pork rinds or bars etc but have some fat/protein/carbs each time instead to keep your intake balanced throughout the day.

A big breakfast is not necessarily a bad idea if you are hungry for it in the morning, but if you are worried about not being hungry during the day maybe cut down your breakfast food a little and see if your appetite is big enough later in the day to make you want to eat meals rather than snacks.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
