Ok,help me please. I am NOT trying to be difficult or ornery or boring or any of those things you have to do to get on TV a lot. I just want to have guilt free coffee.
So - help me make sense of this.
I SHOULD have 12 t0 15 g net carbs from veggies.
I may have 3 to 4 oz of cheese - about 3 net cabs
I may have mayo and high fat dressings - thank god given the green stuff on the diet. The dressings average 1 nc per tablespoon. Let's say 2 NCF for the average day. Mayo gets dull and I refuse to put butter on a salad!
That brings us to coffee.
I have switched to decaf and figured coffee would help me through some of the drier diet days - and then I read (in Atkins) that 1 cup is 1 net carb and the cream another. Then I read a range of (yes, respected sites/journals) and find that coffee has 0 nc or 1/2 net carb.
So, a question or two:
What does coffee contain in so far as carbs - does someone have the answer?
Does regular or decaf coffee count in your daily carb total?
Does decaf or herbal tea count?
Other than that, hey, Atkins is a breeze so far!
