  • Isopure

I was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on Isopure..I was talking to someone yesterday who was also on this wol. Which in itself was unbelievable, but she said that since she travels alot for her job, that she just mixes it with water and she has an instant delicious lunch. Instead of stopping for a burger, she prefers this because all she does is bring the Isopure and the water. She also drinks V-8 juice. I always thought that wasn't the best thing.

    Re: Isopure

Which Isopure product is she using? They range from zero carb to 25g carbs. There are a lot of meal replacement products and diets out there. One really has to decide which diet to follow as mixing plans is not a good idea.

Many people do use meal replacements and many have good results; others do not. For occasional use, they are certainly better than other lunch options when on the road. They are not Atkins though and even Atkins states to use these for emergencies when regular food isn't available.

V8 is not a bad product but it is pretty carby and full of sodium with little fiber. On Atkins, it would be an upper rung product to give you an idea.
